I'm John Aerol Tapales a 4th-year BSIT student at the College of St. Catherine Quezon City. I design and code small, useful things and obsess over the details that make them feel right.
I started out curious about games, and ended up building real apps and websites. Here's a little about me.
I got interested in technology back in high school, not because of books, but because I was curious about how to make game rewards unlimited in the games I played. That simple curiosity slowly became a real passion when we started learning HTML in our Computer subject. Then during our Grade 10 portfolio project, I realized that I wanted to create application, software systems, and websites in the future.
Now, I'm a 4th year BSIT student at College of St. Catherine, learning programming, UI design, and how to build projects that are useful and reliable. Outside of coding, I enjoy playing basketball, dancing, playing online games, and watching or talking about movies with my friends.
My goal is to finish my degree, become a Senior Developer someday, and continue improving my skills by solving different kinds of problems.

Graduated with a Humanities and Social Sciences strand during the pandemic. My school didn't offer tech or computer courses, but my plan to take an IT course in college was already set.
Got into coding through our Computer subject, picked up basic web development, and got my first taste of how software actually gets built. And that was the reason I chose IT.
Mostly playing, mostly outside. No grand plan yet just childhood, done well.
An honest snapshot of where I am right now still learning, still growing.
Coursework, experiments, and small projects each one taught me something I still use today.
